Remote Deposit Capture scans the paper checks from your desktop and electronically sends the images to Bank of Hampton Roads via the Internet.  It automates the process of creating deposit tickets and the time and cost associated with transporting checks.  In addition to funds becoming available to you sooner, you can earn more interest on the funds deposited faster.
